Part 2 of the Dali book tour we moved to the lovely old town of Shāxī (沙溪), in Jiànchuān county (剑川县), and the bookshop here is a landmark in itself! One of the Pioneer bookshops (check out the one in Nùjiāng, truly amazing). Here’s the Pioneer Shaxi Bai Bookstore (先锋沙溪白族书局) with the kids I taught for a day:
